Western Built is the voice of the building envelope industry in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Its goal is to showcase building science innovation in western Canada, as well as to highlight industry research, innovative ideas, architectural trends, and new tools and technologies. Each issue features insightful project profiles from each western province as well as feature articles written For Industry, By Industry – contributed by leading experts; men and women who work and build in Western Canada, and who are accustomed to its unique challenges. These in-depth pieces delve into the building science, architecture, safely, technology, trends and innovation that is being used to build major commercial and institutional projects across the West. Recently, we have added feature stories tying the interior to the exterior, while expanding our distribution to reflect this exciting new addition.
